The primary mission of Gitanjali Institute of Nursing is to provide excellent education and training to produce competent, caring, and job-oriented nursing professionals. The institute is accredited by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). Following the academic standards set by the nation, the institute provides a robust theoretical base along with clinical experience to its students. Experienced faculty members having both academic qualifications and practical knowledge about health care teach at the institute. Students develop their knowledge base, confidence level, and ethics as a nurse under their supervision.
Skill laboratories and simulation centers are among the modern amenities available at the institute for the practice of students. Besides career counseling and job assistance, the Gitanjali Institute of Nursing provides a safe place for accommodation for the out-of-station students. It is conveniently situated in Birbhum and can be easily accessed from Suri, Rampurhat, Sainthia, and Bolpur. The courses offered by the institute are B.Sc. Nursing and GNM. These courses enable the graduates to get rewarding jobs in different health care institutions, including hospitals, clinics, and community health care centers.
